Firewheel Advisory is named after the Texas wildflower, which thrives in heat and tough conditions. We bring that same resilience to helping clients through an ever-changing tax landscape. Our logo comes from the two words in the name: fire for energy and wheel for momentum. Look closely and you’ll see it takes the shape of a flower, too.
I started Firewheel to offer something different from larger firms. Simpler, more efficient service that adjusts quickly, gets back to clients on time, and gives them real value.

Phillip brings more than a decade of public accounting experience helping middle-market businesses navigate the ever-changing tax landscape. His work spans a wide range of industries. From private equity and manufacturing to software, real estate and life sciences. This gives him a uniquely comprehensive view of operational and tax challenges.
Outside of work, Phillip is driven by a love of exploration. He has traveled to more than 70 countries across six continents. From hiking Mount Kilimanjaro to riding horseback through the Kyrgyzstan highlands. It reflects a lifelong curiosity about the world.
